Mr. Hilal Al Kharusi is the Founder & CEO of HK Ventures, a dynamic Oman-based firm specializing in investment facilitation, strategic advisory and business solutions across multiple industries. His expertise extends beyond energy, covering IT, innovation and tailored business services that drive strategic growth and value creation.

Mr. Al Kharusi is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of international business experience in the energy sector. He has held key leadership roles, most recently serving as the Chief Executive of Commercial & Downstream at Oman’s OQ Group. In this role, he oversaw a vast downstream portfolio and operations across multiple geographies. Lead the development and execution of mega downstream and infrastructure projects, such as the Duqm Refinery and crude/products storage facilities-valued at over USD10 billion.

Hilal has also held board leadership positions, serving as Chairman and member of several organizations, including OQ Chemicals, OQ Trading International, OQ8 Refinery, Oman Oil Marketing Company and GPCA.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geosciences/Economic Geography and an MBA from the UK.
